New Reporting Requirements will Allow OSHA to Gain More Insight into Workplace Accidents

In 2014, OSHA made updates to their recordkeeping requirements that required all applicable business to report fatalities and industries. The updates, which went into effect at the beginning of 2015, allowed OSHA to improve their research on workplace safety and health hazards. Armed with this data, OSHA’s would now be able to identify and prevent serious workplace hazards.
